Drumheller Valley has an extensive coal mining history… but that’s not the only history that it has to offer! Drumheller Valley is also rich in palaeontological resources and is often referred to as “Dinosaur Valley”. Did you know that the first Albertosaurus, cousin to the T-Rex, was discovered right here in the valley in 1884?
